This site collects nothing about you. Here is what that means in detail, and what changes when you click through to a software vendor.
Who runs this site
Tradie Software Picks is operated by Your Future Site (Byron Mills, sole trader, ABN 38 686 128 208), an Australian business that makes websites for tradies. Contact details will be added here once the site has a permanent address.
What we collect on this site
- No forms. There is nothing to type your name or email into.
- No accounts. Nothing to sign up for.
- No cookies. This site sets none, so there is no cookie banner.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts. If we add a visitor counter later it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you, and this page will say so before it goes live.
- The calculator and the picker run in your browser. The numbers you type and the answers you choose are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. To deliver a page and block abuse, Cloudflare handles your IP address and the usual request details (the page asked for, your browser type) under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not see that data except as aggregate counts.
When you click a link to a vendor
Every link to a software company takes you off this site and onto theirs. Some of those links are affiliate links: they carry a referral code so the vendor, or its partner network (PartnerStack for ServiceM8, Tradify and Xero), can credit us if you sign up. That network may set a cookie on the vendor's site to remember the referral, for as long as its terms say (90 days for ServiceM8, for example). What they collect from you after that is covered by their privacy policy, not this one. We are told how many people signed up and what we earned, not who they are. Changes
If the site ever starts collecting anything, this page changes first and the date below moves.
